Her move to Los Angeles was just going to be a short trip but it was there that she started making a living in an unknown genre called … Anime!
In the early 80’s, Barbara was performing the role of Amy in the musical “Company” when the bass player suggested she contact someone who was casting Japanese cartoons into English. No one had any idea at the time how it would take off!

Some of her on-camera film work includes McCain Granny ("McGranny"), an Obama Girl spoof on Youtube, Judith, the pushy mother in “Raw Footage,” and most recently Mother Teresa in “Welcome Back Satan.”

His early game development experience includes character design of the pioneering 3D fighting game FX Fighter for the Nintendo SuperFX chip and conceptual design of the award-winning Journeyman Project series. His first work in feature animation was creating the computer-generated opening sequence of Kevin Altieri's Gen13.
Tommy grew up on a steady diet of anime, watching as much Prince Planet, Gatchaman and Casshan as he could in Asia and the United States. Then he shunned television and went back to being a responsible student to the delight of his parents. However, right before entering the UCLA School of Engineering, Robotech brought anime back into his life and he eventually found himself at the ArtCenter College of Design instead. His parents wept.
Tommy first worked in an official capacity for the Robotech universe by helping design Robotech.com for its launch in 2001. He has since come aboard as Harmony Gold's creative director and oversees new development, including Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles which completed production in 2006.

Todd Haberkorn
Known in the anime community for such beloved roles as Hikaru Hitachiin of Ouran High School Host Club, Keroro of Sgt. Frog, Death the Kid of Soul Eater, and Allen Walker of D. Gray-man, Todd Haberkorn is a powerhouse both behind the mic and on stage!
Todd Haberkorn received his BFA in acting from Southern Methodist University and continues to work professionally, primarily in Texas and surrounding states as an actor, director, producer, and writer. He got his first professional, theatrical start in Dallas from the critically acclaimed Undermain Theatre - of which he is currently a company member. Coincidentally, this is also the place where the powerful Kent Williams/Todd Haberkorn duo began. Todd continued to work with all the major theaters of the Metroplex including Dallas Children's Theater, Dallas Theater Center, Shakespeare Festival of Dallas, and others.
This led to the creation of Theater Fusion, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization started by Haberkorn and his mission to bring the arts to areas of Texas that had everything but stage craft in any major capacity. Theater Fusion's journey was covered in major news publications such as The Dallas Morning News, D Magazine, and The Fort Worth Star Telegram with front page, multi-story spreads. However, the company had to go on hiatus as other professional pursuits became more of a priority.
After doing several bit roles for the anime shows Peach Girl and Black Cat, Todd got his first major role in Suzuka as Yamato Akitski. Shortly thereafter, Haberkorn began directing anime under Line Producers Colleen Clinkenbeard and Chris Sabat while continuing to voice in numerous properties for Funimation and video games.
When some anime tenure was under his belt, Todd helped create the FUNimation Podcast which had a short-lived run online informing fans of upcoming releases and the behind the scenes action of Funimation studios.
Todd promotes shows - typically with Wendy Powell at conventions all over the country and hopefully, the world someday. However, when he isn't traveling for the anime world, he is a filmmaker and screenwriter for Fusion Films, Blue Logic Productions and the upcoming, Out Of The Office Productions company.
Todd is presented to Tekkoshocon by Convention Ninja Bookings.
