Tekkoshocon 2008 Hall Costume Contest Rules
1)All costumes must be anime/manga/video game/Jrock based. We cannot judge original designs.
2)Please bring reference material to your judging session. The judges may not be familiar with your character.
3)You may not enter the same costume in the Hall Cosplay Contest and the Masquerade. Doing so will disqualify you from both competitions. However, you can enter both contests with different costumes.
4)Hall Cosplay sign ups will be available at the RADISSON INFO DESK ONLY starting on Friday Morning, and will be available until all slots are filled, or one hour before the judging sessions start, whichever comes first. There will be a limited number of slots for both Friday and Saturday, so sign up early!
5)Hall Cosplay Contest judging will be in a panel room. Please come to the room at the starting time for your day to hear any announcements the coordinators may have. You will then be free until your assigned time.
6)Please be considerate of your fellow cosplayers and be on time for your judging session. Don’t sign up for an appointment if you will not be able to keep it; failure to show up on time may result in your being disqualified from the Hall Cosplay Contest.
7)Hall Cosplay Contest awards will be announced at the Masquerade Awards on Saturday night. The judges will be free to award as many or as few awards as they see fit; Excellence deserves recognition.
